It is a very difficult time for all at the moment, especially for those who are sick and the health professionals who are caring for them as well as those on the frontline of this pandemic. 

Sadly, we lost original Ensemble member Zamille to Covid-19 and that has hit us all very hard.

The virus has taken hold in parts of South Africa so there is obviously a real fear that with limited healthcare in the townships many of the Ensemble will be facing extreme hardships financially and health wise.

It isn’t easy to ask for help but without your support the outlook for Isango Ensemble’s future is bleak and for the actors, with no income, these next couple of months will be particularly challenging.
